Photovoltaic plant – RAN 2007
An 80 kW power plant has been installed on the flat roof of a warehouse base in the city of Sofia. This plant serves both the facility’s own energy needs and the sale of excess electricity.
Documentation for the Environmental Resource Management (ERM) and the Metropolitan Municipality was handled by VVT Engineering. The entire project, encompassing all necessary components, was prepared by VVT Engineering.
The plant is oriented to the south. The construction is unique and specially designed to withstand the load of the photovoltaic modules without causing additional stress. The structure, comprising trusses and special supports resting on the main columns of the building, was designed and manufactured by VVT Engineering.
The plant consists of 148 Bauer Solar photovoltaic modules, each with a power output of 540W and a 20-year product warranty. Additionally, it includes 1 Kostal PIKO CI 30 kW inverter and 1 Kostal PIKO CI 50 kW inverter, both with a 5-year warranty.
The entire construction process for the plant was completed in 20 working days. Following the installation of the photovoltaic plant, all necessary declarations and quality certificates were issued to facilitate commissioning.
