Dr. Eng. Veselin Todorov to the BNR: An energy strategy is needed

The first 2023 event of the iconic campaign “Yes! On the Bulgarian green economy” of the media “Standard” brings together authorities, business and experts in one place to present and explain the Energy Strategy 2023-2053 prepared by the Ministry of Energy, as well as to offer the best and most effective solutions to current problems in the energy sector.

“We have already organized explanatory meetings in municipalities to introduce citizens and businesses to the benefits of green energy. We found that the biggest obstacles people face are administrative and paperwork. If there is no one to help them in this regard, they give up very quickly – emphasized to Radio Sofia Dr. Eng. Veselin Todorov from the association “Solar Academy Bulgaria” – co-organizer of the upcoming forum. – We will try to convince politicians to put in their election campaigns maximum facilitation for the installation of photovoltaics and in general – RES.

The Forum “Business and Power – Together for Clean Energy” will be held on February 9 (Thursday) at 11:00. Ministers, chairmen of parliamentary committees, MPs, MEPs, representatives of municipalities, social and other organizations, the scientific community and business are invited to participate in it with the aim of providing sustainable solutions in the field of energy, the Recovery and Sustainability Plan, entrepreneurship and sustainable development.

The ways of financing such investments will also be considered – for business – through banking services, or for own needs – under European programs.

Engineer Todorov expressed hope that the forum will become a traditional event, and that politicians will accept and implement long-term strategic commitments in this area.
